Medals are mounted according to the order dictated by the Central Chancery of the Orders of Knighthood. Campaign medals are mounted according to the date of participation in the campaign for which awarded. Foreign medals are mounted after all UK/Commonwealth medals.

The medals are hand-stitched to a solid backing board. The reverse is then covered with black felt to finish.
