All medals brought to us for mounting will be thoroughly cleaned with appropriate metal cleaners.  Medals should not be cleaned too often or too vigorously, as this will cause them to wear.  An occasional wipe with a pure cotton cloth and some soapy water is often enough to keep them looking like new.  Just be careful to protect your ribbons!  Should you wish to clean your own medals, the following products are our recommendations:
